Hervey Bay
Hervey Bay is a small city in south eastern Queensland and is located approximately 3.5 hours drive north of Brisbane
It is a short distance from Fraser Island, which is the world's largest sand island, and Lady Elliot Island, a pristine resort island on the Great Barrier Reef.
The local economy relies mainly on tourism, which includes whale watching from mid July until early November.

What a wonderful picture of the whale!
I SEE YOU HAD A WHALE OF A TIME HERE
whalewatching must be great ! while working on cruiseships for more than 4 years I have never seen a large whale in the ocean, many of my collegues did but I was never lucky enough !
