  • At 328 metres high, the Sky Tower is the tallest tower in the southern hemisphere with sensational 360 degree views around and below of Auckland.

You can easily spend hours exploring the different observation levels and when you need a break there's the Sky Lounge Restaurant where you can enjoy the wonderful views comfortably seated with a nice cuppa.

For the intrepid, there's the vertigo climb and the 192m Sky jump, which is by far New Zealand's highest bungy jump.

Admission prices are as follows -

    Adults
Main Observation & Sky Deck $21.00
    Main Observation $18.00
    Child
    5-14 years (Main Observation) $8.00
    under 5 years FREE
    Family
    2 Adults + 2 Children $44.00
    Additional Child $6.80
    Students & Backpackers $15.00

  • The Main Observation Level is 186m high above the streets of Auckland and you have the opportunity to stand on 38mm thick plexiglass panels set into the walking platform to give you the feeling of walking on air.

I was told told that the plexiglass is much stronger than the concrete floors around it and that they would easily hold my weight. I proved them right.

Ooops.... this is nothing for people with vertigo :-)) Ahh, I like towers like that with a lot of air between feet and ground :-)

reminds me of bungy jump in Karuwara NZ and Jin Mao Tower and Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai. I am scared of heights.
