Kloster Maria Laach is a beautiful Benedictine Abbey that is set alongside the Laacher See in the Eifel region. It is about 80 km’s south of Cologne or 25 km's north of Koblenz.
It is one of the most stunning examples of Romanesque architecture in Germany. The abbey is still home to some 60 or so Benedictine monks. |
