White water rafting and caving

Kampong Sungai Itek is near Kampar in the state of Perak and it is about 2 hours driving north of KL. It is located a short drive from the nearby town of Gopeng.

There are many outdoor activities around here including white water rafting on the raging Kampar River, exploring the depths of Tempurung Cave or canyoning, which is abseiling down a waterfall.

And I can definitely say that the White Water Rafting @ Kampar River was the best fun that I had during this visit to Malaysia.

Wow Robert, this was quite an adventure trip! Your rafting and caving experiences look amazing and remind me of the tubing and Mayan river cave my wife & I enjoyed near San Ignacio, Belize. Loved your durian tip too!

What a trip! Durian, white water rafting, abseiling and cave crawling, plus leeches: Your children will tell their grandchildren about this.
