My lovely village - Mikaszowka

Mikaszowka is located about 30km to the east form Augustow, nar to belarussian border. This is very small village ( maybe 15 Houses)on the edge of the "PUSZCZA AUGUSTOWSKA"- biggest forrest in this part of Poland, and probably in europe.
In Mikaszówka is a few private summerhouses to rent , bikes an canoes rent is possible too.

Mikaszewo lake

Mikaszewo lake is located near to mikaszowka -very beautiful and silent lake -without motor boat - only canoe and fishermans boat sailing on the lake:)

I visited those places years ago. Thanks for reawakening memories. Your accommodations sound really good. Didn't know a stay at the monastery in Wigry could be so inexpensive.
