Sedgefield, Garden Route Sedgefield is located at very ideal place in Garden Route right in the middle of George and Knysna. all the popular tourist attractions of Garden Route are easily accessible. this is a little seaside town in the heart of lake district and its main attraction is its golden beaches...apart from swimming and sun bathing, there r lots of watersport one can experience... like wind surfing, yatching and waterskiing... but for instance if one is water hasitant or afraid of such sort of challanges like myself there is an other very nice opportunity: fishing at lagoon which was one of the best experience during the whole Garden Route holidays... also horse riding and golf is possible in Sedgefield...however i was told by tourist information centre about paragliding also but i didnt try but if anyone is enthusiastic about it, Sedgefield is a varitable paragliding mecca with no shortage of beautiful spots....there are lots of walking trails in town and surroundings..and there is railway stop for one of very few steam engine existing train 'otoniqua chook chook' |
