You don't need more than a day to day and a half to explore the island of Venice. If you have an extra day in this area you can go out to Lido and relax on the beach like a movie star.
Main sights in Venice are easily seen one right after the other because of their proximity.
Nonetheless, Venice is a lovely and unique city and much more calm due to the lack of motorized vehicles. The only way to get around is by boat or foot. |
