"The Most Beautiful City in the Americas"

Vancouver Skyline
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

...at least that's what readers of
Conde Nast have voted in their latest issue.

The city to come in at a close second is
VICTORIA (although I can't understand WHY??? because Victoria has really gone downhill the last few years)
...and,
VANCOUVER ISLAND was voted the "BEST ISLAND" of the Americas
...beating out Nantucket (I can see WHY, in this case, because the island really is a PARADISE!!!)

Do you really need any more reasons to come for a visit to the
WEST COAST of CANADA?!?!

...the MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON EARTH!!!

> Add to your Custom Travel Guide [What's This?]

Pros:"Most beautiful setting for a city on earth!"
Cons:"Can be a bit overwhelming when driving here."
In A Nutshell:"It has it all!!!"

We also have several Ikea stores in the Frankfurt area, including a new one that is only 25 minutes away from my house by bicycle. They even have a quite decent view of the Taunus Hills from their cafeteria -- nothing to compete with Vancouver, though!

Well done intro to YVR. Loved the foodie tips. I find my sense of smell getting more acute with age - wierd. Birthday greetings from Alaska!

Did not see much of Vancouver, since I spent only two nights there, visiting newly discovered relatives! We went to Squamish to see the railway museum. I would love to come back and see more!
