ACTUALLY....i suppose u could say my FIRST time out of the States was when my parents and i went to Mexico for a long weekend. But since we live only 7 or 8 hours away and drove down, crossing the boarder u didnt even need a passport or any ID papers...thats so chill, so that means my friends and i can go to Mexico for a "night on the town" all the way down in Tijauna or just big TJ as we call it here in Cali (Im from both Cali AND New York....chill right?!?) and drink...because they have no drinking age and its a big party town for teenagers from America. But i hate drinking like that..i perfer wine at dinner then hard liquor. Well Baja Mexico isnt all that glamourous. You have little kids that r hardly babies literally pulling at your sleeves begging for money and if u dont pay up, those little brats yell at u, "tu es diablo!" I suppose there're right, because from Mexico looking towards America we are nothing but a great privilaged country so who can blame them? Their government is almost as bad as ours, if not worse....but wait...they shouldnt complain, their not the ones stuck with Bush! Yea....lucky us...
I was 15 when i went and TRUST ME i looked it too, and a big scary man grabbed me away from my parents and kept caressing my hand and face asking if i had a boy friend (i thought we was going to try and kiss me he was so close....and his breath smelled...yucky) but then he pulled out a major wad of weed and cocaine asking if i "smoked the mary-jane and snifted the cocaine?!' Word...im telling u...he wouldnt let go and he was straight in my face, even though i kept saying no and pulling away he wouldnt stop until my dad came and told him to let go or he'll call the police. You should have seen his reaction! So ladies listen up, dont go along. Im only 16 and i already know this world isnt safe. Its terrible. BUT GO TO MEXICO AND HAVE A BLAST!!! Im sure its really cool farther down in the center of Mexico where all the small villiages are!
- Pros:if your a teenager and u want to feel all "independent" and ***, go to Baja, Mexico..they cant tell u they hate u like the rest of Europe because they need ur money. Also, everything is pretty much very cheap.
- Cons:Seeing all the little children begging. It will most definently break anyones heart.
- In a nutshell:...They dont even have real guak!
