What began as the tail-end of our trip certainly ended on blistery cool and poignant high notes! We were on our way back to South Africa after a whirlwind tour of Europe and were simply exhausted.We decided that sand and sun therapy was just what we needed but we got far more than what we'd bargained for.... Armed with comfy walking shoes and lots of sunblock,we set out to trace the nomadic trail..... |

I love music and hopefully it loves me..I was entranced by this band of musicians all dressed in similar garb and playing outside a walled fortress inside which a bazaar was in full swing!!We clapped,we swayed and tap-danced our way into this lively market place.......oh what memories! |
winged creatures The falcon is the national bird of Dubai and bred,trained and revered by many of the locals.A proud symbol of the country's flight of progress...With its vision obscured,the falcon is only able to utilize a certain portion of its senses(I forget the percentage),and it was only then that we dared stroke its chest in the presence of the ever-watchful falconer. |  | |
