Lady Musgrave Island is the southeern most insland of the Great Barrier Reef. The island is a coral cay, composed of sand and fragments of coral rock derived from the surrounding reef.
It is situated 100 kms north of the Port of Bundaberg.

The history

The island was named after Jeannie the Americal born wife of a QLD Governor Sir Anthony Musgrave.
