God's Little Paradise

In the picture is the famous (collectively) Chocolate Hills, some 1268 cone-shaped hillocks, unique of this world. Scientifically, the hills were thought to have been created by deposition of coral limestone that have been shaped into what they are right now by ages of erosion. By legend, the story goes like: giants were fighting in the area, pelting each other with boulders thus creating such landscape. Why chocolate hills? The grasses that cover the hills turn brown during summer creating the "Hershey's chocolate kisses" effect. Some find the hills eerie, others amazing and beautiful. It is all of that and more.

But there's even more to Bohol than the hills, even more than what the local tourism is promoting. Bohol is explorable. What amazing things we saw in Bohol is just half of what it has in total.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Nature at its best!
Cons:HOnestly, in the three days we had spent there... that wasn't enough time to notice

ito ang bayan ni jason...mas gusto ko na makita ng choco hills na green siya..noong nagpunta kami dyan., brown din...hihihi sabagay di naman kasi siya green hills!!

hi there, aimees! your bohol pages makes me more eager to revisit the place. had been there a few years ago primarily for work and checked some of the spots. this summer, i am bringing my family to enjoy more of bohol.
