"Work, travel and a frantic road trip" United States of America by crewsada

Having had 6 weeks to start and finish a road trip, was hard enough. To encounter everywhere we wanted to see(30 states, 3 visits to Canada and Mexico), was just silly - but we managed it, clocking up 15,000 miles along the way. Not hard to figure that we didn't take in most of the views. But occasionally we did, the most memorable being in Arizona, at the Grand Canyon one morning.

Down town Boston

Love it here, only wished I'd had more than a day to see it. The Cheers bar and the main park were among the highlights.

San Fracisco Bay

Great place! Lots to be seen. Pier 39 and a trip to Alcatraz were my highlights. oh, and that longest wyndiest road as well (i forget its name) and the record shop at Height-Ashbury!

• Cons:Too many fast food and chain stores- cant escape them!
• In a nutshell:A wide ranging country - too many things to mention
