To the left(west) of the arch is the historic Nielson Hotel. Attached to the hotel is a good restaurant. Ironically, 30 yards to the west of this arch, is the start of the red light district (11-2004).
The only bullring in the world, built next to the ocean.
- Pros:Close to San Diego, with an ongoing party atmosphere.
- Cons:Coming back across the border by car.
- In a nutshell:Go early, leave early, go in a group at night.
