My first impression of Switzerland was great. Driving from Geneva Airport to the little villiage of Aigle was magnificent. The landscape, though appeared a little cluttered in areas, was beautiful. Coming from a town of about 600 people in the far north of Western Australia, Switzerland was completely the opposite. Now for the question. Why Aigle? Well I travelled to Aigle to visit my cousin. I had no idea of what to expect, apart from meeting up with my cousin, her husband and their new baby.
Upon arriving in Aigle, I noticed how clean it all appeared. There was no rubbish on the grounds. All public gardens and parks were green and well maintained. It was relatively quiet in the scene that I did not see many people walking the streets etc. It was exactly what I was looking for. A nice relaxing holiday.
- Pros:Great Friendly Villiage, Great Food, Relatively Inexpensive
- Cons:No one speaks english
- In a nutshell:Don't just pass through this villiage

I was in Aigle two years ago and loved the village. Your correct though. No one speaks English.
