The national collection of the museum was scattered every where in the world during the war. Today the officials have regrouped again these treasures which are on display to the public.
The collections of this private museum present the middle-oriental cultures of the Prehistory till a recent past (about 10000 objects and as many coins).

Opening hours for the public from 10 am to 5 pm. Entrance fee 5,000 LL, 1,000 LL for students. Free tours offered in English, Arabic and French between 10:30 - 12:00, and between 2:00-3:30, duration 45 minutes.
