Baden-Baden is a well known, popular destination for tourists in Germany, and has a very international flair. There is plenty to do here, including visiting the Casino, relaxing in the thermal Spa's, attending the horse racing, opera's, or just shopping and enjoying the scenery.

Additionally, Baden-Baden sports a number of excellent restaurants, hotels, museums and galleries. Thanks to its cosmopolitan population and visitors, guides, tours and information is usually available in several languages, including English, French, Russian, Japanese, and of course German.

At any time of the year Baden-Baden is worth a visit. In the run up to Christmas you can enjoy the excellent Christmas Markets, in January and February you can make a short drive to the nearby Ski-Slopes, in Spring and Summer the Black Forest is excellent for walking or mountain biking, and in Autumn the Forest is at its most beautiful as the trees turn and the leaves are a magnificent spectrum of colour.
