My wife and I had heard so much about Bangkok over the last few months. After our 11 hour flight from London Heathrow which was excellent even if we had no sleep, we touched down in the capital of the land of smiles. Bangkok was much nicer than i had imagined and it was fully air conditioned. All signs were in Thai and English so no mistakes could be made really. We were lucky because we had a tour rep meeting us but it would have been very easy to get a cab or bus into the center of Bangkok. We stayed 3 nights in Bangkok in the Amari Atrium which is on the New Petchburi Road. I will start from day one of course. Here goes.................. |
