Yes, it's touristic, yes, you've probably already seen all the images like the one right above :) still you should come and breathe the cool Prague air and enjoy the atmosphere and experience Prague for yourself. I was lucky to live there for 3 months studying at Charles University, and during these three months, believe it or not, every time I saw the landmarks (like Charles Bridge, Tyn Cathedral or Hrad) my heart missed a beat - the beauty is so breathtaking that you just can't get used to this, it's simply out of this world.

The dancing house shows a more modern side to Prague, it's a bit weird, especiially after you expect to see 16 century... more travel advice

I can't agree more. I grew up in Prague.
I'd love to visit this place soon!!! It is one of the cities on my wishlist since a long time. Especially to see the astronomical clock there and to meet a good VT friend too!!!
The dancing house, I think you either love it or hate it, I was not that impressed I thought it looked odd amongst those beautiful old buildings
