My fascination/ obsession with this city started only in the very recent years.
Though i've heard of Czechoslovakia in my World History/ Geography lectures, as well as in spelling contests , I still wasn't really well versed with most things about it.
One fateful day about two years ago, I was reading an article about "cities to see " in Europe, and I saw a picture of an old, beautiful city. In that article, one word stuck in my mind, MEDIEVAL..., one of the few words that could make my heart skip a beat....the others would be pre- historic, ruins, renaissance, Roman/ Greek, ancient, century, and anything related to these words.
And since that day, I waited with great anticipation, like a giddy teenager waiting to see her loved- one,.....for the day when I can finally visit this city. |
