One of the best experiences of my life In 2002, I got a chance to live and study for a month in Angers, France. My class lived in a dormitory near the center of town on Rue Leon-Pavot. It was a 5 minute walk to the chateau and only 5 minutes more to get downtown. We explored most of the monuments and museums in Angers and the surrounding area. Our excursions took us to Brissac, Serrant, Chenonceau, and Fontevraud Abbey. Wine tasting, even in the classroom was a common occurance and I can only say I wish more classes were like that in the US. I have much more to say about this lovely place and not enough time to write it all today. Au revoir pour maintenant. |
