Guerande is a small fortified city near the Atlantic coast of France. It is mostly known for its salt harvest. However, the town itself is full of charm. A nice little creperie offered a toasty environment for a good meal and a chance to get out of the cold rain. Even in June it was freezing. My friend Tim even had to buy a sweater. I got a chance to witness a marriage parade and saw an eel being skinned. It was all quite a bit to take in. |
