Soave is situated about 20 km from Verona and a small town of not even 7.000 inhabitants. The most interesting thing to see there is the medieval Castello di Soave and the well preserved city walls. Especially when it is misty or during the night the castle looks very impressive and allows you to imagine how the area looked like in past times.
Besides, Soave is the area where the famous white wine comes from, so there are vineyards everywhere. The town itself has a few nice buildings and churches too. |

I am staying here in August, and this photo..how did you get so high up--very nice! I am now very excited to see Soave and the area around it. |
