Verona is a nice city in upper Italy, it is not too big and not too small and famous for the roman amphitheater, the "Arena di Verona". Between June and September an opera festival takes place there. Further, of course Verona is known as well as the setting for William Shakespeare`s play Romeo and Juliet. You can visit Juliet`s balcony (which was built for touristic purposes and was not originally part of the house). So many people leave messages for their beloved ones there on the walls of the building.
A nice walk goes up to the castle...as you can see on my picture you have a very nice view from there.
