estoy enamorada de BUENOS AIRES!!!

Buenos Aires is one of the places I think I could return to again and again and would never be bored! Actually I didn`t do a lot of tourist stuff there, I spent my days mainly just with walking around in the city and sitting in cafés, talking to people- and I enjoyed this a lot! People in Buenos Aires are in general veeeery friendly and soon start to talk with you about your - or their- private life, political or economical issues regarding Argentina ... which is quite unusual in Austria. Many of them soon ask for your e-mail address- and they write! Concerning safety- which definitely was an issue for me before this trip, cause I was travelling alone- I NEVER felt more unsafe than in Europe, maybe because there were always a lot of people around me during all hours of the day. My personal experience was, that the people there were very correct and helpful. Actually, my only safety concern was, that I sometimes feared to be killed in a car accident, cause they drive like crazy :). Anyway, of course you should take care like in every big city. Buenos Aires is definitely not like Paris, but I didn`t have the feeling that I`m so many kilometres away from home...maybe because of the french style buildings they have there, or because the people look like they do in Italy (especially in regard of their style- so leave your fancy, super modern colourful clothes at home- you would feel weird :)) or in Spain, or because their culture isn`t very different from our`s here in Europe :); so somehow the city seemed familiar to me, although I´ve never been there before. My only plea to european air companies is to lower the prices for flights to Argentina:), I would LOVE to go there more often!!!
