So much to see so little time! Places I like usually include some nice historic buildings, narrow streets and picturesque sceneries. I love being somewhere at the sea! It is very nice to go for walks on beaches, dine in some fish restaurant and to fall asleep hearing the sound of the breaking of the waves. I am not fond of getting roasted for 2 weeks at a beach without doing anything else though - I easily get bored :). Consequently I need some interesting buildings, museums or castles close by to visit. I also like places where I have the chance to see (and to photograph :)) some animals. I like to be outside on the fresh air and to enjoy amazing sceneries, waterfalls, lakes, vulcanos, wonders of nature in general. I also like vibrant cities - probably because I miss this in Vienna :). On the other hand I like to discover the hidden beauty of remote places - places where the chance that you meet your neighbour on vacation is marginal :). And I love road trips! Being captured in a holiday resort, maybe one of those all-inclusive ones or on a cruise ship without getting in touch with locals and seeing some real life in a country is almost a nightmare for me ;), as well as organized group travels are.
