... AND THEN GOD CREATED GOA

PRELUDE TO A DREAM

The tender teardrop rolling down sensual India's left cheek... more than a place, Goa is a feeling. One of elusive innocence tempered with unabashed sin, one of unending desires reined in by a sense of detachment. You'll know what I mean when you get there. Best left undescribed, best left to each traveler's own imagination... actually, I think I'll have to alter my earlier words - Goa isn't even so much a feeling... as it is A Calling.
Wish you were here

PAST VS. FUTURE

I've been to Goa on three occasions now. I've felt its monsoon fury during the freaky season which is June - September. Basked under its sun till my dreams were tanned. Felt its soft touch brought on by the cool December chill. I've met poets and wanderers and mermaids and charlatans. Roughed it out, lived it up, taken it all in... only for the chance to be able to do it all again someday.
"... you always take the weather with you"

SUNSET BOULEVARD BLUES

The sun disappears slowly behind the illusionary horizon, and you know that at the very same moment, it's rising elsewhere... in a part of the world where a child's woken up with wonder in her eyes. Where lovers have dragged themselves away from each other, with unspoken promises to never let the feeling fade. A part of the world where a hidden soul is actually wondering about the people on the other side, that side where the sun has just gone down. Maktoub.

Wonder who the "they" is you refer to on your HP. Do you know why "they" are doing it? How nice it is to live up there in the upper stratospheres.

Heh Mr Madinat :-) So, you got any other hippy-people like us that could tag along to Goa? I'm trying to think of another female so I won't be the only girl... LOL!
