Once upon a time...I wanted to have a go at living in the East Coast. At the time, I was living on the pretty island of Guam. So, I moved on a whim out to Springfield, Virginia. Having lived most of my life (at least whenever I wasn't traveling) in the West Coast, "Sunny State of California," I was absolutely stunned by the biting cold in Virginia. Given that yes, it was February and there was still snow around then. Well, not being much of a person who loves cold weather, I was in a rush to move right back to the tropics. So, I did just that! Haha! But, I did enjoy my one month stay and I had fun touring around Maryland and Virginia. Enjoy the pictures, ya'll!

• Pros:It's the capitol of the U.S., historically infamous location, diverse place, many different tourist attractions...
• Cons:Freezing in winter (who knows what it's like in summer...haha!), and not everyone is as friendly and liberal as folks towards the West Coast (I could be wrong, but that's what I noticed)...
• In a nutshell:A visit to the east coast is nice. However, if given a choice between the east and the west...sorry folks, I'm springin' for Sunny California!
