Playe del Carmen
The second cruise I had taken of the Carribean had an unplanned stop at Playa del Carmen due to Hurricane Wilma, which destroyed the port of Cozumel (the planned stop), thus only a few ships could still continue to go there late January in 2006. Remember, the Hurricane occured only a few months prior, in October 2005!
It's a ncie beachside town, with a nice long beach, many shops to spend all your cash and some nice bars you can relax and enjoy cocktails.
One of the bars had swings as seats, which was pretty cool!
