Smoky Mountain Fun

I spent a week in the Smokies last year and I am going back Sept. 24th 2004. I spent 7 nights last year and will do the same this year. I plan on doing some more hiking in the Smokies as well as some short hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway as well.

Pros and Cons

Pros:The Smoky Mountains, Great Food,
Cons:Traffic jams on parkway
In a nutshell:Always take a little time to enjoy the wondeful views of The Great Smoky Mountains

IF you are afraid of heights DON'T GO!!!! Its pretty far up! Or go in the early morning like we did so you have the mist below you...u can see around you just not down :)

The bar that WAS downstairs from Crawdaddy's WAS Daquiery Factory. It is now closed but Crawdaddy's still serves them up just as well!

Great information for us. We ( a group of two adult couples) are going up April 21 - 24 and renting a cabin. Any other tips you might have would be greatly appreciated!
