Almost like home ;) | An eagle at the entrance of Schonbrunn |
Vienna shows lots of similarities with my home, Budapest. After all the 2 cities (I mean the main residential and commercial/administrational areas) were built at the same time in the same style...in the same "country", the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
However, only the main structure and the style of the buildings is something like the same, Vienna's landscape is quite different otherwise. There is no mountainous part in the central areas, the Danube going through the center is not as wide, etc.
Still, I feel a bit like home over there...thanks to the similarities but also to the fact that I have been there already about 20 times :) |

| Pros: | "Lot of concentrated beauty and art" | | Cons: | "Danubside not really well maintained and used" | | In A Nutshell: | "A walk, a waltzer and a coffee :)" |
