Getting TO/AROUND: London buses are quite flexible and fast generally, but when there is a congestion, especially near Oxford street, it might be better (and faster) to walk... Anyhow, from a double decker the city is sooo diferent, so you got to use it sometimes! And actually at night they will take you everywhere without any problem!

Getting TO/AROUND: Can you spot what is missing from that picture? Yes, a real London Taxi! I made lots of pictures about the traffic, but it was hard to do one without a taxi! :) London has loads of cabs and they are actually not that expensive.

Getting TO/AROUND: The Tube is the most admired thing by me in London. It is very well organized, getting you everywhere, great stations, great signals...it's just great! :) OK, some stations are getting a bit old, but that is no problem for me (who loves old architecture and old buildings :) Once in London, you will certainly hear the "Mind the gap" announcment on the tube. Since some stations are not quite straigt, there sure might be some gaps between the platform and the carriages, so, mind the gap! :)

Getting TO/AROUND: In the tube you will see this signs about the line's stations almost every time you have to decide which way to go. Like this it's always easy to decide which way to choose, just check which sign is showing your destination!

Getting TO/AROUND: Since the Tube in London is a quite widespread thing, neading lots of attention and lots of reconstruction works, some stations will be closed time-by-time. About the service on the different lines you can always see postings on the stations, showing on which line is possible to face some delays or problems. Bright! :)

Getting TO/AROUND: Apart from the general service updates, the particular lines also have postings about the problems, closed stations or delays. In case there is a fall out, you still will be able to get to your destination using a substitute bus.

Getting TO/AROUND: Some stations with multiple exits have exit guides like this one at Westminster station. Can make your life a bit easier...little thing, but I like it a lot! :)

Getting TO/AROUND: On the platforms you will see this signals everywhere showing you in what time the next train for a particular destination is going. It can help you avoid getting on the wrong line (on stations where they are using the same platform), since not all the lines have stickers on the windows telling you the name of the line as I had to experience last week...:) Check the schedule, this helps a lot (another little thing I love in the Tube)! :)
