MedioLatino's perception of our small world :)

by MedioLatino - last update: Nov 2, 2005

The big-small World we have :)

On a playground in the city of Szeged, Hungary
Hello Virtual Tourists,

We often say if we meet someone in a place we don't expect: "How small is the World!".

But in fact the World is quite a huge place with loads of beautiful places, people, habits, food, music, etc. It's just impossible to have it all, but it's good to know about them at least!

My way to travel is quite simple: see it all! :)

I love to walk up and down on the streets, see the houses, the details, go in to different buildings, etc. I would like to just walk around the globe! :)

And of course I do_not believe that the world is a plate! ;)

yours,
Attila (MedioLatino)

ps: If You need tips, help, assistance in Budapest, feel free to write me in English, Spanish or French!

ps 2: Important notice! All the pictures on this page (not counting some very few ones where I actually indicate the origin) are taken by me and thus are protected by copyright! Please drop me a mail if you are planning to use any of them!
Sziget is over...I can't believe it :)

Sziget Festival - It's over...but what a blast! :)

Hi there VT friends!

The "Sziget" as we call the Island Festival is over. It was great fun.

I have seen lots of concerts, performances and other events. Have been talking 5 (or 6? :) diferent languages, tried the "Minority Mojito" - made with peer palinka (snaps) instead of rum and made some new friends too.

I know there have been some VT-ers around, though I only had the chance to meet RhineRoll. Anyhow, hope you guys had fun too! :)

Finally found the time to sort out my +1500 pics about the event and posted it on the net.

If you want to check them out, here they are:

And there just look for the Sziget Fesztival 2005 folder.

See you there next year,
Attila

My first ever VT meeting!

A nice late summer evening (mid September 2004 actually :) at Gerbeaud with Maeve_81 (left) and galeena1 (right).

Second from right is local VT and offline friend Rea (shirez).

More VT meetings in my - guess what...: VT Meetings album! :)

Sziget meeting with RhineRoll

I know there have been other people from VT on the Island too, but I only got to meet Win (RhineRoll)...anyhow, we had great fun with him during some concerts mainly at the worls music stage! :)

Andy from Singapore

A very easygoing VT meeting. Andy (metaphysical) was free after his work done here, so we met at Heroes Square, went to Paprika restaurant, had "some" food and did a very nice chat! :)

Rea (Shirez) joined us in the restaurant later...she had to study and told she wouldn't come, but I just knew she will...:)

Wine with Charlotte (devinemissd) & Todd (Todd64)

Wine festival is always fun. And it's something we are proud of, thus we are more then happy to show people around! :)

So we went: Noemi (my GF :), Charlotte, Rea (shirez), Todd and me. And we had very much fun and some excellent wines too! Hope to do it again next year! :)

(Thanks for the pic Rea!)

VT meet with Christine and Heinz

2005.10.24 - A nice dinner with Christine (tini58de) and Heinz (Madschick). Once again in "Paprika", once again good food and huge portions. I had a great time, hope to see you guys again soon! And hope to get to your home museum as well!! :)

VT meet with Subsen

2005.10.30, a cold evening, but a very nice photo session with Sub. Rea (shirez) also joined us for the first part of our journey.

Sub asked me to take him to some nice viewing points and I was happy to do so, especially since like this I had the opportunity to hold in my hands a Canon 1Ds Mk2...amazing piece of equipment! :)

We also went to the Zsolnay café and had some cakes, but that is just a side info ;)

Really. That's because Tarnów is the birthplace of general J. Bem and Petofi being his aide-de-camp is commemorated too. Cheers.
