Every year on the 30th of april Queensday is celebrated in Holland. Holland is celebrating then queens Beatrix her mum Juliana her birthday. On queensday people turn nearly crazy. Most of them will walk around in orange clothes. On the streets there are markets, stages with music, lots of food and beer stalls and in the canals are boats with partying people. For foreigners it probably will probably really weird to see this, but the atmosphere is just lovely.

De Wallen is the famouw red light district of Amsterdam. This is the area in Amsterdam where the prostitutes work. U also can find here some sex shops and coffee shops. It's on the Oude/Nieuwezijds Achter/Voorburgwal. Watch your belongings since in this area there are a lot of pickpockets.
