The oldest of the imperial cities, Fes is the symbolic heart of Morocco. The medina of Fes el-Bali is one of the largest living medieval cities in the world. The UNESCO designates Fes medina as a world heritage site. Be sure you spend at least two days in the wonderful city. If posible, stay in the medina and get a feel of the old medieval city. |
