Krabi and the surrounding area and beaches are excellent for relaxing and sightseeing, not to mention all the cystral clear beaches and beautiful limestones outcrops. There are many things to do in the areas, such as snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, rock climbing, white water rafting, diving, kayaking, elephant trekking. If time permits, you can visit the nearby national parks for jungle trekking. I personally perfer Krabi area to Phuket.
The Itiernary of the 6 days trip was as follow: Singapore -> Krabi (Tigar Airways) Krabi -> Ao Nang Bay (30 mins minvan 200 Baht per pax) Ao Nang Bay -> Island Trips Ao Nang -> Phi Phi Don (2 hours, 390 Baht) Phi Phi Don -> Phi Phi Ley and Diving Trip (2 dives, 2,200 Baht) Phi Phi Don -> Krabi (2 hours, 350 Baht) Krabi -> Krabi Airport (Compliment with Thai hospitality)

BillNJ Sun Jan 25, 2009 13:01 UTC Great tips and photos. I especially like your description of the resort hotel at which you stayed. Indeed, good service from a hotel can often be a big help while on vacation. |
