Hi there
This is my first homepage so you'll have to bear with me for a little while, as I need to find my way around ! I'll be telling you about my life my partner my cat (stinky) my family and all my friends! also all the places I have visited Peru/Bolivia, Bahamas, Cuba, Thassos and more, so hopefully soon you'll find my page of some interest!

Cuba

To the beach

We visited Cuba in 2002 and stayed in all inclusive hotel on the peninsula Varadero! what a beautiful beach and the hotel was lovely. We mainly spent our time chilling on the beach sipping icecold lemon it was great! The beach was separated from the hotel by trees so once you were on the beach so you couldn't see the hotel which made it feel very private which we liked it gave you a sense of being away from the real world!It alsow had a lovely little beach bar so you didn't have far to go! We went on a jungle tour on jetskis which had a steering wheel which was quite mad to see the animals which I didn't really like as they seemed to be kept in quite bad conditions and tourists were able to hold the crocodile I felt it was cruel!

We also went to Havana for the day on an excursion it was good to see the cigars being made and the market but I did find being pestered all the time to buy thier cigars (which are illegal to take out of the country)

but it was really good to see all the old cadillac's all so well looked after it was like going back in time ....

Skydiving

What a fantastic experience and such a great place to do it! We had both decided before we went away that we would do it, we asked the rep at the hotel who told us it was very dangerous in Cuba! we went ahead anyway and found the Skydiving school and off we went.... they were very professional and safety was a priority... it was one of the most amazing experience I've ever had! We landed on the beach infront of our hotel.. how cool!

We really loved our holiday in Cuba the local people were really friendly and made our holiday a great experience!
