I grew up in Iloilo City that even though I now reside in Manila, the city remains very close to my heart. It would always be the city that I will yearn for. Iloilo was once known as the queen city of south with its thriving port. It is also known for its grand churches, hospitable locals, and good, good food. Though, I am quite picky on food, I really, really miss the food sold and offered in the city's restos. Iloilo is also near good, clean beaches. It's just a 15-minute boat ride from Guimaras and about 30-minute jeepney ride from Guimbal, Tigbauan, and Miag-ao, where beaches can be found. And what more, almost everything is less expensive, especially the food. | | |
