Lots to do indoors or out Latest visit to Blackpool April 2009 stayed at The Valdene Hotel as not caravanning anymore. Hotel was a great place to stay in a central location and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and our time at the hotel. Details of hotel in accommodation section.
We stay at Blackpool Caravan Club site,we take our caravan and enjoy very clean facilities and a warm welcome. The site is about 3 miles from the sea front which is easily reached by a main road, then the fun begins, miles of traffic free flat promenade..To Fleetwood is 12miles passing the Pleasure Beach Funfair, three piers, the tower, always lots to look at. An alternative ride is to head to Lytham St Annes, about 5 miles then head towards Blackpool passing gardens,St Annes Pier and many sand dunes. |
| | Central Blackpool At weekends and holidays the prom can be filled with people so cycle cautiously to avoid unpredictable movements from dogs and children. |
| | Nearing Fleetwood Only about a mile to go to reach Fleetwood for a coffee and bacon barmcake and ice cream of course. |

Good photos and information | davesut Sun Apr 10, 2005 18:02 UTC Nice start, look forward to seeing more soon. Cleveley's kitchen has been a great stop for us in the past, I feel a little off form the last two times I have visited in summer and Autumn last year, still great pies though. |
