Before 14th centuries, People of Java still praticed Hinduism and Budhism Religion, before Islam came and spread from Malay peninsular throughout the archipelago on 15th centuries. Since many Java ppl converted into Muslim, there were still Hindu and Budhism practised by some ppl. And to atract as many as Hindu ppl into Muslim, Sunan Kudus used Music and Song.
