This page does not include the most interesting part of Rogaland, the area of Lysebotn and the Lysefjord as I thought they deserved a separate presentation. After our trip on the Lysefjord we got off the ferry at Forsand and drove north, across the amazing bridge spanning the rocks on both sides of the fjord, following road 13 all the way to Kinsarvik on the edge of Hardangervidda. As it was getting late and raining cats and dogs, we put up for the night near Tau in a private house, which turned out to be a real haven and has been described on my Lysebotn page. If we had continued our journey into the night, we would have missed too much of the great scenery that awaited us the following day.

Spectacular scenery! It is so much fun to get away with your own car to explore beautiful parts of the world, like you do in Norway!
