Don't walk on the dunes

Staying at Kuznica, and indeed in any other village on the peninsula, don't forget that the dunes between the forest and the beaches are protected areas and not to be walked on. Use only the marked trails, especially when entering or leaving the beach. The highest of the dunes - Libek (13 m) - may only be climbed from the forest but as the pictures show, some tourists must have tried to run or tumble down from it onto the beach. The dunes perform an important function here, protecting the peninsula and the villages from the winter storms. So stay away from them or you may be fined.

Don't miss this sign!

The bay is not deep - just look at the windsurfers walking in the water when their board tips over and you will see it hardly comes up to their chests at places. There may be stones on the bottom near the shore too. So obey this sign and forget about diving into the water head first. Surely you don't want to spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair?
