    Pilies St is lined with market stalls of vendors selling all kinds of goods. It's right in the centre of the Old Town with numerous restaurants and hotels so the sellers count on tourists as their clientele. Artists display their paintings, craftsmen local crafts. The atmosphere is very pleasant and you can find some unique souvenirs like a wooden bear at his (also wooden) computer.

    What To Buy: Amber jewelry, paintings, linen, embroidered tablecloths, original children's toys made of wood, Russian 'babushkas' and many more local crafts.

    What To Pay: The prices are lower than in the shops. Amber jewelry is cheaper than in Poland.
