The Garden State

Our jewish wedding at Sayen Gardens in New Jersey
I live in New Jersey and while I do hate the winters, shoveling snow, driving in it (mostly the other drivers who still drive like idiots) dealing with the bitter cold, I do like living here. We get all four seasons and I do like that variety (I just prefer my snow on the slopes I ski on and the ice preferably not in my driveway since its a slope and I've managed to slide down it rather than walk down it). We have some very nice beaches, some amusement parks, beautiful gardens throughout the state (I got married in one, Sayen Gardens in Hamilton Square, NJ - pictured) cities filled with history, suburbs with big and small houses, are close to NY and Philly, PA, have Atlantic City and for me, most of my family and my husband's family live in the same state.

Pros:"You get all four seasons"
Cons:"You can get bad winters and have to deal with Jersey drivers."
In A Nutshell:"Lots to see and do in New Jersey besides the shore."
