My Passion...

London Bridge @ The Great Ocean Road
Travelling has been my passion ever since I was a kid.. I absolutely love travelling but unfortunately I can't do it as much as I want because I have to work to pay for it.... I travel at least once a year..

However, 2005 is the year that I travel the most.. Well, I have all the time in the world now since I'm no longer studying... and at last, I can use all my annual leave for holidays!!! (Well, I used to save them for exams!)...

And, I'm looking forward to more exciting trips in the future...
Goldcoast Beach

What you'll find here...

I am hoping that my travel pages will not only be useful to other travellers, but will also be a way for me to share my photos and experiences with my friends and family..

You will find loads of information on beach resorts and exciting rides here... Cause I love the sea, sand and the sun and the spine-tingling, adrenaline charged, out-of-this-world excitement rides plus some self-pamparing pages...

Learning is never-ending....

I figured that riches and wealth can be taken away in a heart beat but no one can take away your experiences from you. I know it might sound cliche but travelling the world has expanded my heart and mind. It has made me more knowledgable, it has induced in me an addicition to see and learn more.

Travel has made me more appreciative of culture and others' views , has made me a more tolerant individual. But the most important thing I have learnt is not the places you go to but the people you meet along the way...

I will continue to wander this world, and hopefully continue to meet other wanderers and i will keep placing them in the bank of my memory.

Hopefully the day i am asked to leave this mortal coil i will be able to look back on my account and see how rich i always was.

Perhentian Island, Malaysia

My 2009 Travelled Places and Plans..

Feb: Maldives -> HONEYMOON!

May: Tioman Island -> To do Open Water Course!

My dream - To visit the 7 wonders of the world..

Have you ever tried to Google "The 7 Wonders of the World"?

After reading a few websites, apparently I couldn't come to any conclusion as to which one is the accurate one.. I guess after some Ancient Wonders were destroyed in the fire, eathquake, etc, people start to create new wonders to make up for the lost... Unknowingly, they have listed more than 7 in total and finally it was categorised as follows:

1. The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
2. The Seven Wonders of the Medieval Mind
3. The Seven Natural Wonders of the World
4. The Seven Underwater Wonders of the World
5. The Seven Wonders of the Modern World
6. The Seven Forgotten Natural Wonders of the World
7. The Seven Forgotten Modern Wonders of the World
8. The Seven Forgotten Wonders of the Medeival Mind
9. The Forgotten Wonders
(Quoted from http://wonderclub.com/AllWorldWonders.html)

So, I have decided instead of visiting only 7 wonders, I'm gonna visit 1 place from each of the category and this is my list:

1. The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
----> The Great Pyramid of Giza (The only ancient wonder still standing today)

2. The Seven Wonders of the Medieval Mind
----> The Great Wall of China (Planned to go in 2009)

3. The Seven Natural Wonders of the World
----> The Great Barrier Reef

4. The Seven Underwater Wonders of the World
----> Palau

5. The Seven Wonders of the Modern World
----> The Golden Gate Bridge

6. The Seven Forgotten Natural Wonders of the World
----> Mount Fuji

7. The Seven Forgotten Modern Wonders of the World
----> Eiffel Tower

8. The Seven Forgotten Wonders of the Medeival Mind
----> Angkor Wat (Going in Feb 2008)

9. The Forgotten Wonders
----> The Sydney Opera House
The Great Pyramid of Giza
Maldives - My future Destination....

Next "wanna be" destinations:

- Bali, Indonesia (to relax)
- Great Wall Of China, China (7 wonders of the world)
- Korea, Seoul (for the snow, to ski)
- Maldives (for the marine life)
- Hong Kong (for the Disneyland)
- Koh Samui (for the beautiful beach)
- Cairns ( to sky-dive)

I'm dying to try these...

I'm a rather adventurous gal and hope to try out new things in life and whatever life has it for me...

1. Scuba Diving
2. Sky Diving
3. Skiing
4. Parasailing
5. Snowboarding
6. Bungee Jumping
7. Wakeboarding

What else is exciting for me??
Must try at least once in my life!
