Next up: a trip to NYC to see Oprah + Cairo and Paris for a little adventure & romance.

Traveling always excites and renews me. At times it feels like it is as necessary as water.

Some of the most lovely things in life: Hand picked raspberries with vanilla ice cream, peonies in bloom, starry nights, surprise visits, the silence of the country, old fences, foreign money, avocados, the smell of the sea, a baby's grasp, people dancing in the streets, dessert, butterflies on dirt roads, green grass, the sound of lions in the night, the feeling of being content, books, forgiveness, sweet goodbyes, rain drops, summer songs, fancy salt, nutella, people who represent, unfamiliar languages, beach hair, feet that have been walked on, sun kissed skin, going to bed after a perfect day, the evening sun, hot summer nights, scarves in the fall, people without plans, baby lambs, confident people, the first sip of coke from a glass or tin can, lemons, grape vines, cherries in a white bowl, painted toe nails, the first snow of the season and the loveliest thing of all is dreaming with him.

My biggest pet peeve: Closed windows on a lovely day and window coverings that block the sun from shining in.

My goals: Be nice. Be happy. Be lively. Be creative. Be healthy. Be still.
