We visited Crete for a week, staying in Agros Nikolaos, Mikro Village Hotel. Everything was quiet, where were all the tourists the brochures promissed? Even the main sites were devoid of queues. But everybody remained friendly and hospital. "we'll just have to sit it out. It will be worse on the main land and in the big cities". A real opportunity to talk with people.
- Pros:Friendly people, healthy food, lots of olives
- Cons:The smallest olives in the world, curvy roads
