| | Introduction: Never the same road twice The only sensible goal is progress. I love to make progress and then I'll never travel the same road twice. I've learned something the first time. Sometimes, however, I do get the idea that I'm not making any progress - because of a trafic jam - or that it is better to avoid that known road - because I've done that, been there -. That's when the fun starts: leaving the main road and heading down the local paths, unfamiliar by-passes, dirt roads, new tracks, ... .
Over the years we've done some travelling, mainly in Europe. And within Europe, mainly in France. The last few years, however, we've been to the Tsjech Republic, Italy (again) and the US (again). I hope to share some experiences and add some tips on The Netherlands too. Happy tracking!
august 2005: extended the travel pages with experiences from South-West Poland and Egypt.
2006: added some remarks on Weimar (Germany) and Basel (Switserland)
2007: been to China, with our kids. Did a tour, just the four of us. Perfect. lso added some tips on Scotland. |
