After a week in London, my two friends and I took the hovercraft across the channel from England to France. We arrived in the City of Light on a Friday night on the Left Bank where the streets were full of vendors & people and the sidewalk cafes, one after another, were filled with patrons. It seemed like another world. I immediately fell in love with Paris. If you didn't go inside a single building, just roaming the streets of the city would be satisfying enough. The Louve was beyond what I could possibly imagine . It was mind boggling & incredible. The cafes, the street musicians and mimes, the pastry shops on every corner with beautiful and delicious works of culinary art--the entire city is like a dream that you can't get enough of. I was awed by Paris. |
