My husband and I have been three times to New Zealand. Every time we travelled around for about 7-8 weeks. We just love the country because of the wonderful nature, outstanding food and wine, the space and the very nice people. We even got married on Totoranui beach in the Abel Tasman Park in 2001. When we arrive and when we leave, we stay a few days in Auckland. We also have been a few times on Waiheke Island, when possible during the annual winefestival. Waiheke Island is in the Hauraki Gulf, 35 minutes by ferry from Auckland. |
